ABOUT THE MAY DAY MARCH

A Day Without a Worker. A Day Without a Woman. A Day Without an Immigrant.

This march is in support of working families, women and immigrants.  In peaceful resistance, the march will begin at the Federal Building and will end in Chicano Park (~2.8 miles).

The mission is to advance the fight for a fair and just economy. We will defend our communities until every child gets a good public education, every family has quality healthcare and childcare, and every senior can retire in dignity. We will advance justice until every woman and girl is safe, until immigrant families do not fear the violence of deportation, until black people can walk down the street without fear of police terror, and until working full-time is enough for a family to live out of poverty.

"The Janitors and students at City College are going to strike and march, because our freedoms, dignity and human rights are not being respected."  - Geno A., May Day March Organizer
