On June 14th, Donald Trump is planning a birthday military parade—using our flag, our soldiers, and our tax dollars to stage a display that echoes authoritarian regimes.

But we don’t do kings in America.

That’s why we’ve joined forces with Indivisible and a growing coalition of organizations to bring this action to San Diego. This is part of a National Day of Action, with protests happening in hundreds of cities across the country to stand up for democracy and push back against authoritarian displays of power.

We are calling on everyone who believes in democracy to join us:

• To reject authoritarianism

• To defend democratic values

• To oppose wasteful displays of power

• To remind America that the people hold the power
